SummerWorks Performance Festival
August 1-11, 2024

SummerWorks 2022 - Festival Archive

Another fantastic SummerWorks Festival has come and gone, but what a Festival it was!

This year we returned to our 11-day format, and had the chance to share our programming across 13 Toronto neighbourhoods! This year’s SummerWorks offered city-wide engagement like never before, focused on fostering new connections and curiosity in a world that has long been disrupted, inviting audiences to reimagine and recalibrate their relationship with public space through art.

We also saw the return of SummerWorks Presentations, Exchange, and Lab, with over 30 performances, workshops and events to attend in person, as well as an extensive array of online and hybrid experiences.

We would like to thank to all of our Donors, Funders, Partners and Supporters who help to make the Festival happen, and of course a heartfelt thanks goes out to all of our incredible Artists, Volunteers, Audience and Staff. Keep your eyes peeled for more exciting opportunities for artists and audiences throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you at SummerWorks 2023 next year (August 3-13)!
