Patron Services Manager – Front of House

Liz Staples is a queer femme settler of Italian ancestry born and raised in Tsi Tkaròn:to (Toronto). She is a multidisciplinary theatre creator, performer, director, producer and arts administrator. She is one half of ‘STARLiz’, who throws parties and creates experimental performance art. Their monologue ‘Sweaty’ is published in This Is Beyond (Playwrights Canada Press). Liz is currently in Residency at Buddies in Bad Times developing her solo show, Chez Moi, a love letter to the Lesbian bars of Toronto.

As an Arts Administrator she has spent time in many Box Offices in theatres around the city including 8 years at Theatre Passe Muraille. This is her fourth year at her favourite Festival, SummerWorks!
