An audience comes to see a play about MAN. They arrive in MAN’s bedroom but there is no play, just MAN in bed, depressed. Over the course of the night, MAN’s depression comes to life around him, and the audience becomes witness and interloper in MAN’s journey. Exploring the internal world of MAN through projections, soundscapes, text, and spatial exploration, a sensorial world is created, enveloping and consuming both MAN and the audience.

This work physicalizes an invisible world, and we are coming together to investigate it.

Join us as we come into the room and play with the ideas of isolation, loneliness, time, intimacy, and connection through the lens of a character consumed by depression. How does space evolve as MAN’s internal state shifts? What is the arc of this “environmental character” in relation to MAN’s journey?
