FreeSteps – Grand Canyon presents a dynamic sculptural experiment in the FreeSteps series.

A kinetic sculpture is created, where the dancing body engages in a profound interaction of mixed materials. These interactions, unfolding in the shifting equilibrium of force and form, forge ephemeral and organic connections. The resulting transformations of texture and mass evoke a powerful mimicry of landscape, mirroring the earth’s own process of orogenesis – creating mountain formations.

Through this interplay of movement and material, the audience is invited to expand their perception of the body’s boundaries, experiencing a visceral and visual metamorphosis. This performance invites a powerful visual imagination of mass, and a contemplation of the fleeting nature of form within a constantly evolving landscape of movement.

FreeSteps – Grand Canyon is presented in alignment with FreeSteps  NiNi.
