How can we as theatre directors and arts facilitators increase our capacity to lead rehearsals and workshops in ways that are emergent, supportive of diversity, open to healthy conflict, and conducive to safe risk-taking? Led by Nikki Shaffeeullah, this hands-on community consultation seeks to identify current industry gaps in director training, and explore how direct education and facilitation training can make for stronger creative spaces.
ASL interpretation will be provided for this event.
Part of the SummerWorks Exchange programming – a series of events to facilitate artist and community growth, to strengthen the ecology of live performance in Canada, and expand our dialogue and collaboration with the international arts community.
