Recently, we announced a list of 135 (and counting!) artists and creative collaborators bringing bold, intimate, and daring new live performance works to stages and spaces across Toronto this August. 

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the SummerWorks Performance Festival – a festival that began as a by-artists-for-artists initiative, responding to an urgent need for more performance opportunities for Toronto theatre makers; and it continues to nimbly shift and creatively evolve in response to our local creative communities and committed audiences.
