By phone: SummerWorks has limited box office phone hours, from August 3-13 only. Our Festival Box Office phone number is (647) 784-2574. Phone sales are open from 12:30pm – 4:00pm each day of the Festival. Phone sales end one (1) hour prior to each performance or event start time.
(If you require assistance by phone before August 3rd or outside of box office hours, please email email@example.com to arrange a call with a member of our Patron Services team.)
In-person: Tickets are available for purchase at our two main Box Office Hubs:
In-person Box Office Hubs open one (1) hour prior to the first performance of the day at each Hub, and will close 5 minutes after the start of the final performance of the day. Tickets are available for purchase with cash or debit/credit. Both Hubs will sell tickets to all Festival performances and events.
Note: If you are attending a performance at The Citadel: Ross Centre for Dance (304 Parliament St) and are planning to purchase your ticket “at the door”, you must go to the East End Hub at Daniels Spectrum to purchase tickets, then make your way to The Citadel (approx. two blocks/5 minutes away).
The house will be open ten (10) minutes prior to scheduled showtime. Front-of-House staff will ask you to line up in the lobby prior to entry. Seating is first-come, first-served. You must present your e-ticket on your phone or as a print-out to be scanned.
New this year: you do not need to redeem your e-ticket for a paper ticket at the venue.
All shows start on time. Latecomers will not be guaranteed entry. Some performances may have a late call, at which time Front-of-House staff or a volunteer will bring you into the theatre. If you need to leave the theatre for any reason during the performance, you may not be guaranteed re-entry. Designated Relaxed Performances allow for both latecomers and re-entry. For specific information on Relaxed Performances at SummerWorks, visit our Accessibility Page.
Content warnings (ie. use of haze, violence, mature subject matter, strobe effects, etc.) will be listed on the individual show page for each production. If you have further questions about content, our Front-of-House staff can provide more detailed information.
