Drop-in on creators and builders as they shape their ongoing projects: Beyond Silent Mode demonstrates new possibilities in performance with augmented reality. The Toronto edition of culturecapital brings Canada’s performing arts economy into the context of a new trading card game. ArtistProducerResource.com hosts an open wiki-edit-a-thon.

Directing & Facilitation: A Community Conversation

Presented in partnership with The AMY Project.

How can we as theatre directors and arts facilitators increase our capacity to lead rehearsals and workshops in ways that are emergent, supportive of diversity, open to healthy conflict and conducive to safe risk-taking? Led by Nikki Shaffeeullah, this hands-on community consultation seeks to identify current industry gaps in director training, and explore how direct education and facilitation training can make for stronger creative spaces.

Moving Publics – An In-Transit Conversation
3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Bus departs from The Theatre Centre Cafe
Presented in Partnership with York University.

Come on board our neighbourhood bus for curated conversations on the performance and politics of mobility – everything from public transportation to protest in public spaces. Part public dialogue, part collectively created site-specific installation, this project will invite participants to reflect on questions of access, assembly and public choreography as we travel together along Queen West.
