What if you could look at her forever?
Horizon is a place, a zone for constant change, undefined borders and distance. What becomes of an Association For Looking: closely, long and beyond in an arena filled with reflection? Enter to look at a collection of bodies on display in an endless dance of vitality on a schedule. The time is tracked autonomously while insight takes place in the future (time is tracked by me, I set my own beginning and end).
The choreographic exhibit is open for 5 hours. As our guest, you are invited to come and go at your leisure to a multi-dimensional live dance performance despite you, yet with you. We will watch together. We will compose together. We will evolve together.
Concept by Kate Nankervis; Created with and Performed by Meryem Alaoui, Chrysanthi Badeka, LoBil, Angie Cheng, Lee Lee Davis, Terrill Maguire and Zeena Dotiwalla; Video and Media by Erato Tzavara; Co-produced with Hub14.
"Horizon looks at how we look. It asks, what do we see, what lens are we looking from, what resonances lay outside of our point of view? Can we push our own gaze to see beyond what is habitual and comfortable to create new parameters of viewing? I think these are important questions, and significant ways of challenging our seeing, and thus possibly related ways of being." - Jenn Goodwin
