SummerWorks Appoints New General Manager Emi Forster

September 6, 2013 – The SummerWorks Performance Festival is pleased to welcome Emi Forster as General Manager.   Originally from Sydney, Australia, Forster was most recently Curator/Producer of the inaugural Beams Arts Festival. She has a background as a dance and video artist and has won a Melbourne Fringe Festival Award for Best Dance. SummerWorks is currently seeking two interns to help us start planning for next year’s Festival. Interns will take on a number of projects for which they will be responsible, and report directly to the General Manager and Artistic Producer of the Festival.
